Welcome to my world, disconnected from time, space and mind, somewhere between the Big Bang and the Heat Death of this Universe. Step outside with me for a moment.

The eye provides to humans both the highest bandwidth information input to the mind and the most impact possible. Visualizing the world is critical to living in it, at all scales from vastly smaller than atoms to vastly larger than galaxies. The work here falls somewhere in a human-size realm, usually. While I prefer to work with nature, nothing is out of bounds.

Photos here have various heritages. Some represent current digital camera work, some come from scans of negatives, prints and slides from film cameras. Some may even come from less common data sources I have, or had, access to.

I do shoot a lot at some events and may post a large number of photos from an event for a while for the benefit of participants, regardless of quality, and clean them up later. I always wear many hats at these events, and Spectator or Official Photographer is never my primary title. You can check the blog entries or gallery pages to understand these events.

This is a continuing project as both the cameras and the scanner stay warm, as does the computer. Check back from time to time to see what I’m doing, or where I’ve been in the past. Feel free to leave comments on the blog or many of the gallary pages, or drop me an email using the form below
